Now thru Feb. 3rd you can drop off your clean, durable fabric donations at the Northfield Public Library! The fabric will be made into "Take-n-Sew" kits to be sewn into Boomerang Bags for the library. We have @1,200 bags circulating around the library and we have reduced the need to purchase so many plastic bags.

Kathy, I love this idea! (I'm thinking this might be a fun thing for some of my Arcadia kids to do.) My Prichard kids suggested that I contact you because you know so much about Northfield and worked with the kids at the library during the sesquicentennial. I'm looking for local experts who can talk about Northfield to my May Term class at Arcadia. Does that interest you? (Sorry for connecting via your blog -- I didn't have a phone number or e-mail for you.) ~~ Tammy Prichard
