Northfield Senior Center is getting involved!
We are joining forces with the
Northfield Senior Center!
August1st: Fabric collection begins! Fabric must be clean, prints or solids, sheets to light upholstery fabric at least 1 yard. Bring fabric to NSC or the Used-a-Bit Shoppe.
10 am to 2 pm Thursday, August 31st and Friday, September 1st: Volunteers create “Take-n-sew” kits for people to sew at home and return finished bags to NSC. NSC room TBA.
The bags will be available (at no charge) for Northfield residents to use over and
over again and will be available at the Northfield Senior Center and the Used-a-Bit Shoppe.
Help us remove the need for so many plastic bags in Northfield!

Now thru Feb. 3rd you can drop off your clean, durable fabric donations at the Northfield Public Library! The fabric will be made into ... -
we had a successful fabric drive and Book Bee. The completed bags went out as fast as we made them! There are kits to take & sew.
